Iain Kerr - Organist

From classical pipe organs to the ‘mighty’ cinema organs – since the age of nine when he started taking organ lessons, Iain has been comfortable with the full repertoire – church music – light music – classical music - Iain’s repertoire is endless.   During his High School years, apart from playing the Dunedin Town Hall organ for major music festivals, he was also featured regularly as organist at the 2,000 seater Empire (later renamed St James’) Theatre in Dunedin, New Zealand.   He also guested at the console of the Wurlitzer in Auckland’s Civic Theatre – New Zealand’s largest showcase.  For four years his Concert Model Hammond Organ was without doubt the best known instrument on Australian radio and television as he was seen and heard regularly playing it for popular productions several times each week. Iain is a Fellow of the Royal College of Organists.
